About the Client: We are looking for a proactive, customer service-oriented Virtual Assistant fluent in Spanish and English. The ideal candidate will assist as a virtual front desk that will be helping with patient scheduling, insurance eligibility and verification, emailing, inputting and collecting patient information, and translation support. Experience in healthcare and customer service is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide translation services for Spanish-speaking patients
- Schedule patient appointments across multiple locations (AZ, CA, OR, NM, WA, CO, TX, WA/CU)
- Verify insurance information and assist patients with related inquiries
- Manage telehealth scheduling software and Zoom links for virtual sessions
- Follow up with patients regarding appointments and other administrative matters
- Provide real-time translation support for Spanish-speaking patients
- Maintain accurate patient records, manage company emails, and handle administrative documentation
- Verify and schedule follow-up appointments after daily visits
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to ensure seamless operations
- Participate in Zoom meetings with providers and clients when needed
- Verify billing was completed by the provider through the clearing house portal
Required Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) – Essential
- Experience in customer service (preferably in healthcare)
- Proactive attitude and ability to learn quickly
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable using scheduling and telehealth platforms (training provided)
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in healthcare administration, medical office work, or insurance verification
- Experience managing multiple locations in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality best practice
