About the Client:

The client is an innovative company dedicated to helping private inventors transform their ideas into marketable products. They specialize in guiding clients through a comprehensive three-stage process that includes researching the feasibility of inventions, developing and protecting those inventions, and marketing them to key platforms such as Shark Tank and various manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  • Handle inbound and outbound client communications via phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Oversee and coordinate independent patent attorneys and their teams, ensuring deadlines, documentation, and case milestones are met.
  • Monitor legal case progress, following up with attorneys to ensure timely task completion.
  • Utilize legal case management and CRM software to track and organize client interactions.
  • Effectively de-escalate and resolve complex client issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Ensure compliance with legal policies, confidentiality agreements, and data security protocols.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in a client-facing role within a legal firm or professional services environment.
  • Project Management: Strong ability to coordinate legal teams, track deadlines, and ensure case progression.
  • Conflict Resolution: Proven experience in de-escalating tense situations and handling complex customer concerns.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise between clients and legal professionals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems, legal case management software, and office productivity tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to manage challenging client issues independently.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with legal terminology and patent-related processes
  • Experience in customer retention and complaint resolution strategies.
