Position Overview:

Our client, a Spanish-speaking law firm specializing in immigration, is seeking a full-time Spanish-Speaking Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will be sharp, socially intelligent, and detail-oriented, with a strong background in legal work and excellent written English skills. This role is crucial in providing support for immigration case processing, including client communication and paperwork preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Client Interaction:
  • Answer phone calls from potential and current clients.
  • Gather necessary client information to assist with case preparation.
• Case Preparation:
  • Draft and complete immigration-related paperwork for lawyer review.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, thorough, and compliant with legal standards.
• Administrative Support:
  • Provide light assistant duties as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain organized client records and case files.

Qualifications:

• Strong written English skills (required for documentation and communication).
• College-educated, preferably with a law degree or legal education from Central or South America.
• Paralegal or legal assistant experience, particularly in immigration law, is highly preferred.
• Socially intelligent and sharp, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible with spoken English accent; clarity and professionalism are valued.
