About the Role We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented New Agent Onboarding, Licensing & Business Coordinator to play a pivotal role in the successful integration and early career development of our new agents. This multifaceted position involves guiding new agents through the entire licensing process, ensuring a smooth administrative onboarding, and actively supporting the initial stages of their new business activities. You will be a key resource for our new team members, providing essential support and ensuring they are set up for success from day one.
Key Responsibilities
New Agent Licensing & Onboarding Specialist:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and dedicated guide for new agents navigating the licensing process from initial application to becoming a fully licensed professional.
- Provide comprehensive guidance on each step of the licensing journey, ensuring clarity on requirements, timelines, and expectations.
- Proactively follow up with new agents via calls and text messages to offer consistent support, address questions, and keep them on track to meet testing deadlines.
- Lead new agents through the licensing checklist, ensuring all necessary steps are completed efficiently.
- Facilitate registration with the pre-licensing course and provide a thorough tour of the course site.
- Offer valuable study tips and suggestions to maximize success in the pre-licensing course.
- Guide new agents through the process of signing up for their state licensing exam and scheduling fingerprinting appointments.
- Assist with the completion and submission of the state licensing application.
- Manage the process of submitting the licensing documentation to [Specify relevant entity, e.g., GFI].
- Ensure new agents understand and complete their initial continuity education requirements (AML, Annuity, LTC, etc.).
- Facilitate Errors & Omissions (E&O) subscription setup.
- Manage SureLC account creation and process initial appointment requests.
New Business Coordination: - Actively push new business initiatives and support agents in their initial sales efforts.
- Diligently track new business from the initial application stage through to policy delivery.
- Proactively connect with agents and, at times, clients to ensure all required information is submitted accurately and in good order.
- Follow up daily with insurance carriers on the progress of applications through intake, underwriting or suitability review, and final delivery.
Administrative & Data Support: - Accurately and efficiently submit licensing applications on behalf of new agents.
- Conduct thorough quality control reviews of the first 10 applications submitted by each new agent to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage follow-up tasks at various stages of the licensing and new business processes.
- Compile necessary documents and maintain organized records for both licensing and new business activities.
- Assist with policy tracking and related administrative duties.
Social Media & Content Creation (Beneficial): - Utilize basic Canva skills to design and create engaging posters and flyers for internal communications, agent support materials, or recruitment initiatives (if capable).
Tech Stack / Skills / Experience - CRM Experience
- Apple ID - company uses iOS to communicate (Must Have)
- Basic Canva Knowledge
- Google Sheets & Workspace experience
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) If possible
- Previous life insurance experience (nice to have)
