Key Responsibilities

  • Phone Support:
    • Answer incoming calls with a warm and pleasant demeanor.
    • Assist patients with general inquiries about the dental office, services, and scheduling.
    • Rebook and reschedule appointments as needed.
    • Coordinate x-ray requests and patient follow-ups.
  • Appointment Scheduling:
    • Efficiently manage the practice’s calendar, booking appointments, and handling cancellations.
    • Minimize missed opportunities by promptly addressing calls and scheduling new patient visits.
  • Insurance Coordination:
    • Gather and verify insurance information from patients.
    • Assist in explaining insurance coverage and processing claims inquiries.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Digitize paper charts and assist with the transition to electronic medical records.
    • Manage email communications and follow up on patient requests.
    • Provide support with data entry and other backend tasks as needed.

Key Requirements

  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, empathetic tone.
  • Strong phone skills and experience handling a high volume of calls in a professional manner.
  • Experience in a dental setting is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of dental insurance processes is a plus.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in practice management software (training provided).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and solving issues.
