About the Role: The client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Virtual Sales Representative to join their insulation contracting business. This role is focused on business development by securing a place on bid lists for contractors and government agencies in Michigan. The ideal candidate has strong sales experience, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to quickly learn industry-specific terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to contractors and government agencies in Michigan to secure placement on bid lists for insulation projects.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities related to non-residential insulation for pipes, tanks, and boilers.
  • Conduct outreach via phone calls during Eastern Time business hours.
  • Maintain and report daily call logs, contacts, and bid status using a provided tracking form.
  • Respond to bid requests and assist in proposal submissions.
  • Follow up on pending opportunities to maximize chances of winning contracts.
  • Create reports for bid activities and outcomes.

Must-Haves:

  • Proven sales experience.
  • Excellent English communication skills (must have a neutral or no accent).
  • Strong ability to learn and use industry-specific jargon quickly.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, or heating industries.
  • Experience working with government contracts or contractor bid lists.
