Job Overview

This role manages the sales process of used semi-trucks from start to finish, requiring strong sales skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of the trucking industry. The Cold Caller/Lead Sales Generation VA will work remotely using digital tools to engage clients, negotiate deals, and close sales. Responsibilities include lead acquisition and cold calling, with an average of 160 calls per day and talk times exceeding one minute.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential customers through remote channels, building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Provide expert guidance on truck specifications, financing options, and market trends.
  • Drive sales growth by making 160 calls per day, focusing on lead acquisition and client management, ensuring engaging communication.
  • Present truck options and answer client inquiries effectively, utilizing negotiation skills to close sales and handle objections.
  • Offer accurate information on semi-trucks, including makes, models, and specifications, while staying informed about market trends, pricing, and financing options.
  • Use CRM software (Motility) and dialers (GoTo), as well as virtual meeting platforms and other sales tools. Ensure accurate documentation and order processing.
  • Work independently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and time management to balance multiple client interactions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and providing tailored solutions.
  • Adapt sales strategies based on customer needs and market changes, utilizing creative thinking to address customer challenges.
  • Leverage existing networks or build new connections within the trucking industry to generate leads.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in automotive or commercial vehicles.
  • Strong understanding of semi-trucks and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Motility) and dialers (GoTo), as well as other digital sales platforms.
  • High integrity and commitment to ethical sales practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Adaptable, resilient, personable, professional, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Established networks within the trucking industry are a plus.
